The 3 best and most efficient tips on how to micro-step your daily habits to success.

Micro habits are so small that they feel like they should sort of succeed automatically. That’s what makes them so frustrating when, for whatever reason, they don’t. Did you ask yourself sometimes how to micro-step your daily habits to success?

The good news is, you can set up any micro habit for success with just three simple steps. Sound easy, but there are a few rules you have to follow.

The problem is that even small changes can add up, especially when you have a whole extensive long list of them. Don’t get frustrated when you go slow and use baby steps to achieve them; you will bring your daily habits to success.

You have to remember that do not get caught up in trying to achieve everything in one day or remake yourself entirely.

The world was not created in one day. It took days to create the world.

Be passioned and don’t let your ego take the lead.

Pick up one micro habit and then allow yourself to pick another one until the first one is already well established.

For example, suppose you want to start jogging in the morning. You could connect it to the already established routine in place for stretching exercises each morning. The act of doing the stretching exercises before becomes a trigger for the new micro habit, and so it becomes easy to remember to do it.

Sometimes the brain gets in the way and tries to tell you what to do.

a.If you’re not sure what to connect it with, ask yourself questions such as:

b.What time of day do you want to perform this micro habit?

c.Is there something else I do at that time every day?

d.Is this micro habit somehow related to something I’m already doing regularly?

E. Can I somehow link it to something else entirely but still see some alignment in my mind?

Or at least place the micro habit on your schedule.

Even a tiny habit such as drinking more water is established by simply setting a timer on your phone to remind you to drink every hour.

Or to place a bottle of water and a glass on your desk and fill it up regularly.

You can use anything to remind you to execute the micro habit.

For example:

With treats, I mean anything that lifts your mood. You will understand that just ticking off that one habit of the list and making it a routine is a great habit that feeling alone is a great reward.

We are talking about rewards; treat yourself to a spa or some shopping spree.

These steps bring your daily habits to success. A micro habit can be very easily set up for success. Encourage yourself to perform your micro habits daily. After a while, they become a routine, and you will miss them if you do not do them. Sometimes, every little bit helps.
