SEMrush shows you all the popular terms, organic and paid your competitors going after.
Ahrefsshows you everyone who is linking, to your competition that is not linking to you.
Buzzsumo shows all the popular articles that your competition had read. Use this tool to figure out what is working for your competition and do more of that. Also, you can use these tools to see what is not working for your competition so you can avoid making the same mistakes.
Take advantage of the tools that are out there it helps you to grow your business, and at the same time, you learn from your competition.
Not all tools are free if you can invest in some tools if not use the free version. But upgrade when you can. After all, you are running a business.
Technique Nr. 6 Go Visit and engage in trade shows, enhance the offline business.
Trade shows are huge. I know we are talking about online stuff but who says you can’t generate business offline.
Even though I get over 20 K unique visitors a month, I still generate more revenue offline.
Lots of people are not so familiar with the internet and getting to know them to present your business is a great idea.
Check out trade shows, Conferences and localised meetups that is how I am building my brand.
Speaking on conferences, going to localise meetups, doing all these things will help you generate business. ( when you start out, you have to know that you will not be paid speaking on conferences or shows.) It does not matter, but it brings you customers and strengthen your Authority.
People aren’t just communicating over the internet, they also want to get to know you. Build that personal connection in person, this is an essential factor. People like to know with whom they are dealing and the mouth to mouth advertising is still popular.
It is simple it is easy you can even apply to speak at conferences also if you haven’t spoken at any event before, just take all your industry events to apply to all of them and one for sure will accept you.
This is a numbers game, that is how I got my first speaking gig. Remember offer value first.
Technique Nr. 7 Get yourself some press you can hire an agency.
Companies like prserve.com will do a performance-based press. If they get you on sites like TechCrunch,Buzzfeed,Entrepreneur or whatever it may be, whatever you are targeting they will charge you.
What that means is that you pay for it. Some of the not so well-known gurus always say they featured on Forbes or CNN or whatever. That is how they do it. They take their luck and success into their own hands.
If they don’t, get you the deals they won’t charge you. You also have to understand that it is not a guarantee that you will have the links to your site. Just because you get on TechCrunch doesn’t mean PR serve is going to guarantee that they are going to link to your website.
Yeah, they will mention your site, your product, and your service, and they may want to interview you.
They will create real press even real magazines likes Forbes the offline edition or Entrepreneur, right the physical hard copy print magazine version. It is a great way to just generate press without having to pay those monthly retainers like most of those PR Companies charge.
Technique Nr. 8 Keep your content SEO optimised.
You do not have to use too much SEO or hire an SEO expert. The only thing you should do is use a keyword tool and check out the best keywords for your article or blog post.

Can you change the Font for your Word Press Theme without CSS or HTML?
Yes, you can. There are different Themes who have the typography already pre-installed. Unfortunately, my Theme did not have it, and my font when I use the headlines and I wanted to make some words bold looked very funny. I was looking for an option to change my Font for my WordPress Theme.
I looked around and tried some options, and when I tried to change the font on my Theme through CSS. Style it did not work. With every update it went back to the old font, I could also not overwrite the default font. I guess my Theme pulls the fonts from somewhere else.
On another website, I use a different Theme it worked with CSS. Style Sheet but only for my posts and the pages I had to re-do again. As I am not a Programmer and don’t want to mess up my site I decided to look for a plugin that is not too heavy and will not slow down my site speed. I found a plugin and installed it.

I have done a few tests and I have changed now my fonts on one both my sites, and I am so happy with the result. I discovered a few neat tricks.

How to get started with the Easy Google Font Plugin.
The Easy Google Font plugin is one of the best free plugins what is available right now for marketers and for web designers. It has a great range of fonts, and you can also change your font colour, font size, font appearance, space and so much more. I tried a few font plugins but the google font plugin I find is the best. I use it now for any WordPress Theme that has no Typography option available.
Whenever I use a plugin I test the site speed before and after, the result is that the Google fonts is less dense and is not slowing down my site. Please, whenever you install a plugin and do some changes on your site do not forget to back up your site.
Step 1. Log into your site and go to Dashboard> Plugins> Add New > look for the Easy Google Font Plugin> and install it> activate it.
The Google Font plugin is a win-win for every web designer out there.
Step 2. Go to your Dashboard and click appearance > go to customizer> click on it > open it and there you can see a brand new item on the customizer dashboard called Typography. > click on it > and it open Default Typography > click on it and you can see the paragraphs and headline one, headline two through to headline six. ( Depend on your Theme)
If you scroll down a little bit, we got first of all the standard web fonts that are all the stuff that is on your computer and then we have the google stuff. Then we have the Script Subset > all Subset we do not worry about this now. We go down to Heading one.
If we change Heading one we go to Heading one choose font> click on it and choose New Rocker ( That is the font I choose for you to see)> You can see immediately that your heading one has changed. >If you change now heading two, three, four, five, six to New Rocker > You can see it is very fast to change the font of your headings.
I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and how much the google font plugin can do. Discover more options, there is font weight, and that usually applies only to the google form that has options on font weight.
Step 3. Change the Font Weight, Text Decorations and Text Transform on your WordPress Theme.
When we choose a more flexible font like “open sans” we can see that we have different options like font weight/style. If we go up to 800 then you can see that we also have text decorations like underline, sounds a bit weird, or overline sounds even weirder, line through, and we have text-transform like uppercase, lowercase, and capitalize.
Use things you know that potentially work in text transformations like uppercase and it could be useful. The options are flexible. Save or click publish.
Change the Font Colour on your Word Press Theme.
Step 4. >Click on Appearance Tab
If you click on the appearance tab which is for things like font colour, you can change it to red or blue, or to black as I can see many themes have the anthracite colour now I don’t like it very much, so I changed mine to black.

I love this google font plugin as it is excellent and it is free so what are you waiting for install it now. All the functionality goes right through from your header one tag to header six tag and paragraph.
We change header 3 to font nixie it has one weight and when we change the colour say a beautiful blue, what it shows you that you can see very quickly how your main font families classes can be transformed and turned into a bespoke option on your website.
As you can see, there are default options for the main six headings and also the paragraph and when we change it does it real quick. So what happens when you want to change something that is not a standard class so we got our standard headings and we got our standard paragraph, and there is much other stuff there.

Changing the Logo Font or Menu Font on your WordPress Theme.
Changing the logo font or the menu font that is where this plugin has his qualities. It is a bit Kodi, but I am trying to keep this as a little on the lighter version, but sometimes you have to roll up your sleeves and get your hands a bit dirty. I hope you do not mind. I promise you will love it. I am not a Programmer so remember if I can do it so can you.
So let’s and don’t forget to save and publish that first.
Now we are going to the front end of our website and give that a refresh and see the changes we just made.
So what we want to do now is change the Logo Text Font or whatever you want to call it. ( Site Title)
Of course, there is no option for that back here on the easy google fonts typography. The Question is now how do we do it? Well, it is not so difficult as you think, get started. The first thing we do is we need to find out what class title this logo text ( or whatever you want or call it) is. How we do this?
Go to your Website Element ( Logo Text ) and hover over it with your mouse.
It is pretty easy to do with any browser, and you just have put the cursor over the element we want to know the class then use the >right click of your mouse and a tab will open up that says inspect or inspect element. Click on inspect element, and you get a whole text with HTML codes from your element.
It also shows you what the CSS properties
for that item are, and you can see it here.
We are interested in the code above it.
It is called the site type, and that is the class that decides what that logo text will look like.
Now we make a note by just simply clicking on the text copy with CTRL+C and go back to the dashboard. Close the customizer and go to the settings menu. You will see an item for google fonts.
Click on it, and you come to the list of Easy Google Font. You will see different items like …

What does that do, you can create different class elements that you can then control through your customizer in the dashboard.
Click on create new google font control write the name site title and click create font control once you created it you have the option to add a CSS selective class. Remember you just copied the class from the inspector element.
Remember you just copied the class title ( .site-title) from the inspector element. ( picture Nr.2) So it is dot site – title we copied that down, and we are going to paste it into the CSS selective class press the tab key, and you click force style override ( picture nr.3) then click save font controls. ( picture nr. 4)
The new Option under your Dashboard.
Now you have a new option when you go back to your dashboard under appearance and click customise. Look at typography now we have two options. Option 1: is the default option what is the paragraphs, and the headings. Option 2: is now Theme Typography. If you look, you can see that it is the site title class we just created. Now we can use the same option as we used for the default option and change font style, and we can change the font colour and so on. We can do the same as we did before.
Isn’t that incredible it gives you so much flexibility for any theme you customise or you develop. You can put custom fonts wherever you like in whatever context is required.
If we choose now the font family for that and let’s give that term the classic Oswald, it is done. Isn’t that amazing?

I love it. We can now control almost every aspect of our typography on our pages. Make the font a bit bigger when it looks too small. Move the Line height a bit up and get the weight up a bit, and make it a bit fatter some letter spacing or slightly wider. All done.
Save and refresh and the same you can do now for any other text on your site. For example your text tag line. Just repeat the steps. We continue …. you are now on your Dashboard page where you can see the “Welcome to WordPress “and the blue bar that says customize your site. Please click on customize your site.
You will come to the customize page that looks like this for me. Don’t panic your page will look a bit different because you have chosen a different design. When you click on change ( No 2) you will be able to change your theme if you are not happy with it. That is up to you. Just don’t change too often it is not good for your site.
Site Identity in SiteRubix. It is the same as a Word Press dashboard.
When you click on Site Identity you will be able to insert a logo if you have one. If not and this is a family site with photos use one of your family.
Select a logo when you have one. If not skip that step you can always come back later.
If you want to change your Site Title now is the time.
If you want to change your Tagline you can do it here.
What you always have to remember is that you need to click on the published button after you are finished otherwise your changes will not be saved.
How to change the colour scheme on your Siterubix Site
Here you can change the colours scheme of your site. Just be aware a white background is less distractive.
Header text colour: this depends on your picture you need to change the colour that you can read your Site Title and Tagline.
Background colour: I normally choose white due it is less distractive. But of course, you can choose whatever you want, and suits your site best.
Colour Scheme: That comes with the Theme but you are able to change it, just make sure it is matching with the overall look of your site.

Remember whenever you make changes, please click on the published button before you continue.
Header Image in your Siterubix Site
You can upload your own header image. Please click on upload image then go to upload from your computer. I guess your media library is still empty as your site is new. The Media Library will store all the pictures you upload on your site. When you come back later on it is easy to use the images again.
Please make sure that your image is according to the header size. Mine, for example, is 1600×400 pixels. You will be able to crop your image once you upload it for a perfect fit. You can also skip cropping. Some Headers have a slider, and you can upload up to three or four images, they rotate in your header. If you have 3 images, you can upload 3 images. Again when finish uploading your image please click publish.
Background Image in your Siterubix Website
If you like to have a Background image in your Siterubix Site than you can upload one. Sometimes it looks not so good and the whole background looks then very busy.
If you have a family website a background image might be an excellent idea. You can see in the picture I used a background picture you can immediately see.
If the header image and the background image actually blend in it might not look too bad. When you change the background image you need to again upload it from your computer, phone or tablet. You will need to decide on the image position and on the image size. You can play around with it and check how it looks. There are quite a few possibilities. Be as creative as you want.
What is a Navigation Menu in a Website ( you are right it is nothing to eat)
A Menu in a Website, and how they are used at a most basic level of explanation is a collection of a list with links. Most of the Menus are on the site navigation area or on the header navigation bar.
It is usually called a Navigation Menu. Every Link in a Navigation Menu is called a menu item. I will not discuss this here further as in the Training you will be walked through by Kyle and you will know in detail how to create it.
The basic term is that you create a top menu and a bottom or side menu. It is done and when you customize your site for the first time you can skip it. When you build your Website you will need to build and create the Menus.
Post or Homepage Settings in your SiteRubix Website
You have the choice between homepage setting or post setting.
What it means is that what is displayed on the homepage of your Website.
If you choose post than the post will be in chronological order ( classic blog) or as a fixed/static page displayed.
If you set it to a static homepage, you need to create the first two pages.
Why two? Because one will become the homepage, and the other will be where your posts are displayed.
Slider setting in a free Website
Some Websites have Slider settings and some don’t have it always depends on your Theme. Some themes come with and some come without it.
Most of the slider settings require a special pixel size and will only work when you select the static front page. Your header picture will change in an interval of the pictures you chose.
Contact Details for a Website
In some themes, we have them on the header, on the side or sometimes on the footer. You can insert your contact details if you want to, and I would recommend a separate email address.
If you are using it as a family page than I would not fill out my contact page you want to avoid that spammers get hold of it and sending you Spam information or clogging up your inbox.
On the other hand, if you have a company website or a business website for your products you might want to let your customers know who you are and where are you located. Be reminded that whenever you insert some changes into your site use the publish button to save it.
Additional CSS on a Website
If you are wondering what is CSS here is an explanation of it. Every Cascading Style Sheet (whether it is contained in a .css file, or embedded in the head element of an HTML document) is a series of instructions called statements. A statement does two things.
a: it identifies the elements in an HTML document that it affects
b: it tells the browser how to draw those elements.
If you are new and not familiar with CSS, then I would recommend to wait and get all the other things set up. Your website is functioning OK even without the CSS. In the customize section you can learn how to do the CSS if you need to. But for a beginner start slowly and go step by step don’t overwhelm yourself.

Embedding a YouTube Video in WordPress is easy and it does not require coding or special skills when you know how to add it.
Classic Editor and Block Editor
Now with Block editor, it has become even easier. You can insert a YouTube Video either directly from a URL or you use the embedded code from Youtube or anywhere else. ( A good advice is to test the website speed before and after you insert your video as sometimes it will slow down your website.)
Adding a YouTube video to WordPress has become so much easier. Long it is gone now that if you have a website you need to be aware of HTML Coding.

Do I need a code to insert the YouTube Video?
A system of words, letters, figures, or symbols used to represent others, especially for the purposes of secrecy. A code can be used also in computers to program a computer to perform certain programs.
Copy the code from the video and paste it into your website.
You go back to your Website with the page or post you want to insert the video.
Click on the text in the right corner of your post or page. ( see picture below)
5. Insert the YouTube Code
You have to know that when you paste the code in visual it will not work.
Mark in Visual write “Insert YouTubeVideo” so when you click on the text tab you know the space where you want to paste the code.
Paste the code you copied from your video source( mine is youtube) into the content … see below
Click on the right top corner text… Don’t worry when you see all the coding language. Scroll down where you marked your page where you want to insert the video.
6. Update your Page
Go up to the top on the right and click update your page. see picture below
Ones you have clicked update wait until your page is loading. When the update is finished go back to visual and you can check if your video is displayed properly.
7.YouTube Video is visual.
Click in the right corner on visual and you can see your video in the content.
8. Check and remove the wordmarks you wrote
That was easy right. Now take out the wording “insert video” as you do not want to have it appear in your content. That was only a help for you to see where you wanted to add the video within the text tab. Coding can be confusing sometimes.
9. Not happy align your YouTube Video in the middle of the page
If you see now that your video is not in the middle and is aligned right than with a bit of HTML Coding you can move the video into the middle of the page. It will look so much better.

How to reposition YouTube Video into the centre?
You will need the YouTube embed code what you have inserted in your page through the text tab.
You see below the code of the video code what will be automatically aligned left. Scroll up to see how to get the code.
Here are the instructions in short again without pictures.
* Grab the code you want to insert from the YouTube( or video source you chose to have) page via the share >then embed *
Copy the code and go to the page you want to embed your code and click on your page right at the top “text” paste the code.
To change your code * Now right click with your mouse so you can edit the HTML code. Insert the following at the front of the code where it says <iframewidth=…..
Click on the right at the top update the page again and check that your video is now aligned in the centre. Some pages or post look ok when the video is aligned on the left side but sometimes it just looks nicer when it is aligned in the middle.
Change the Height and Width of the YouTube Video.
You can also change the width and height of your video. Just enter the dimensions you want to have.
Just make sure it looks in proportions. Below you can see the picture in yellow where you can change the size.
Make sure you do only change the numbers all the rest leave the same instead of 560 use 680 and instead of 315 use 415 ( just an example.)

You have been scammed before, well you are not alone. Every time wondering why did you not see it? Sometimes it sounds too good to be true, but a little voice in our head tells us “this is it this time you make it” Until you realize just another scam that took your hard-earned money.
What is Dynamix7?
according to their website, it is a Training Center. Where you can learn online marketing with coaching through the phone it is a one to one coaching for around 15 minutes.
Apparently, all the trainers are very experienced and want only the best for the student. You will get homework and before you haven’t done your homework you should not call for the next training. Homework means establishing your website.
They catch you with this $1.95 offer that goes then into a domain that cost you $29.90. It comes with a great ad, where they show you a check and a mother with an amazon paycheck over $13.000. The website my friend signed up for is no longer working.
Soon as you signed up, someone will call you and want to get your details and talk you into buying the product. My friend said they are very good at talking you into buying so be aware.
It starts with a starter for 999 USD then the medium starter 1995USD then the advanced starter for 3995 USD. This is what my friend remembers. Each price comes with different functions.
Dynamix 7 and my friend? What you should be aware off…
I am writing this because I have a friend who signed up for that. She paid lots of money for it. Up today, she paid 15.995 USD for it. ( I wasn’t aware of it, she only told me 2 weeks ago) I want to make people aware that you do not need to pay so much money for a website and an Amazon Affiliate Program. She can afford it, but boy she got screwed in my eyes, she thinks is good and she loves the one by one teaching through the calls once a week in the mornings.
Don’t get me wrong she has a website, she is very happy about it, she makes some money like 559 USD to 700 USD a month. I thought she is a member of a hosting or affiliate program but she has no control over her website on the plugin and other things. As all are in HTML and all the plugins are pre-installed.

The site comes with 5 pages if you want more pages, you pay again more money to have more pages. ( My friend has the full package)
OK let me start when I first saw her after a few months as I was busy and she was busy travelling for work, she came to me and ask me if I could lend her a helping hand with her website. She wanted to know why is she not making more money, despite her effort and the following of the coach. 2nd problem was that all her HTML coding went all over the place.
She knew I am doing Internet marketing and she needed help so of course, I helped her. We sat down and she showed me her site and boy was I surprised all is in “HTML coding”. I had to ask what kind of site is that it has a back office, not the same I am used to with word press. I could not help myself in asking my friend ” why do you use the old way no word press”, she said it’s the platform she paid for it. Below is a screenshot of the website page HTML coding.
She has a thousand affiliate Programs in there, where she is a member off through the site, and apparently, they do online training through the telephone.
Each week you get a task to do and she has to do it as if she did not finish she cannot call in. Unless there is a problem.
She is a member of the Amazon Affiliate Program and all these other affiliate programs, she received a lot of dropshipping suppliers for her niche from the company.
But no one really tells her how to earn money, how to advertise and how to perform little tricks and nick nacks to have more visitors to your site. I have to admit this back office is not bad but just outdated and really overpriced in a huge way.
She has a social media builder with all the common social sites. ( like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus,) where she can post and share. They guided her through the google webmaster sitemap submit, as well as Bing webmaster site submit, Alexa site submit, and a lot of other things. I have not yet figured out if the company makes a percentage of profit from her earnings or it is all belong to her.
This is a screenshot of the image of what features she has, there are some more but I do not want to post them here. She logs in through a back-office and then arranges and access her website from there.
As she explained to me whenever she is travelling they will call her where ever she is. She likes that.
This site even has a separate login for ebooks all free, PLR rights where you can choose the freebie for it.
The e-book section is not bad, and the longer I am on her site platform I think it is not too bad, said this is just a bit outdated and very expensive. It has free affiliate banners and affiliate resources. It comes with a keyword density tool and a meta tag generator.
Paying for this site in total 15.995 USD is really really expensive. My friend gave me permission to post her invoices as she realized now that this is just a platform that looks for her money.
She has not bought from them anything since but she is still doing some training as she just wanted to revamp her site.

I would say the price versus value I would give them 5 out of 10. Why the 5 out of 10. If I want to be fair then I have to say the company is not a scam, but you can see this from different points considering the high price you pay for that platform.
One of the things my friend likes is the weekly phone calls to training. I guess it is a selling point that you have weekly contact with their staff who walk you through and give you homework to do.
My friend still thinks it is a good platform and she still loves it and can not understand why I am looking so stunned and surprised by it.
We solved her problem with the HTML coding and as the company Dynamix provides the training I ask her to ask them to make her site more effective. In regards to her ROI, I suggested asking Dynamix to help her and concentrate the training on sales and marketing.
I did a google search and I am not surprised how many bad comments and reviews they have. I have read that they go under many names and that they close accounts if you complain.
It is not my place to judge my friend and if she is happy, then I am happy doesn’t matter what I think about this company.
There are a lot of companies out there, that when people are not successful it is marked as a scam. But at the same time, a lot of virtual companies out there do scam you and the best advice from me to you is “do not go impulse shopping or signing up” do your homework and research.
If someone calls you, tell them you are working and ask them for the company name, tell them your boss is around and not a good time to call ask them to call you back. That gives you time to research the company.
